2015 Philadelphia Flower Show

Cell phones were flashing, cameras were clicking as people viewed the events and features at the 2015 Philadelphia Flower Show.

This year's theme was "Celebrate the Movies."  The exhibits included movie themes and décor that were inspired by the movies of Disney and Disney-Pixar.

Upon entering the entrance garden there was an Art Deco theater facade made with an arrangement of bright flowers.  There were exhibitors from around the world each offering a magnificent display of plants and flowers.

                         The Butterfly Room

"The Butterfly Experience" consisted of more than 1,000 butterflies created by California's Sky River Butterflies.  Both adults and children were fascinated by the assortment of domestic and exotic species.

Gene London brought 55 of his fabulous costumes to the Show.  On exhibit were Golden Age costumes from Stars of yesteryear.  Mr. London is an expert on Hollywood costumes and owns thousands and thousands of them from the glamorous golden days of Tinseltown.
